My work examines how AI changes organisations, professional work and the systems people rely on.
Academic profile
I work across artificial intelligence, technology adoption, health economics, urban transport and technology law. My research connects empirical questions about trust and acceptance with the institutional and economic consequences of technological change.
My doctoral research focuses on AI surveillance in real-time Bus Rapid Transit routing. My legal research compares the classification of cryptocurrency and virtual assets in Sri Lanka and Japan. Related projects examine generative AI acceptance in banking, e-commerce and education.
Alongside academic research, I lead technology programmes and publish public-interest investigations, evidence reviews and sector analysis. The relationship between these activities is practical: how can research inform better technology decisions and public accountability?
